Return Privileges
VitaMist offers a 30 day return policy on merchandise based on the following conditions:
Damaged Product
If Customer receives damaged products, please refuse the products upon original delivery attempt. If damaged products are accepted from the carrier, such damage should be noted on the carrier delivery record. Please save the product, the original box, and the packaging and notify VitaMist immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and a pick up of damaged products. Please notify VitaMist Customer Service at cs@vitamist.com or 1-800-582-5273 of damaged products WITHIN 10 DAYS of receipt. Timely notification of this information is necessary for VitaMist to file a damage claim. Damaged merchandise will only be exchanged for the exact same product.
Non-Damaged/Defective, Unopened Merchandise: within 30 days of Original Purchase Date
If you have non-defective merchandise which is unopened, depending on the item, manufacture date, and circumstances, we will issue an RMA # and will give you an address to ship the product to at your expense and subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee.
Shipment Refusals
All refused shipments are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee. Please note: once an order has been processed it cannot be modified or cancelled. If the shipment is refused a restocking fee will apply.
The shipping and handling charges are non-refundable
Defective Products
If you have received defective merchandise, you must contact VitaMist within 30 days of purchase date for replacement of defective merchandise with the exact same product. After 30 days, Customer must notify us in writing - please note, if you fail to notify us of defective product within 30 days of purchase, your request for exchange will be handled on a case by case basis and you may incurr a small handling fee.
PLEASE NOTE:
All returned products must have the RMA number clearly indicated on the package otherwise the shipment will be refused by our warehouse.
To receive an RMA:
- Please contact VitaMist Customer Service at (800) 582-5273, Monday through Friday, 7am - 5pm, AZ time, via email at cs@vitamist.com, or via our web site at www.vitamist.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before shipping product back to VitaMist. This will expedite the process and ensure the proper action or credit upon processing.
- In order to expedite a return, please have the following information on hand when requesting an RMA number: Customer number, invoice number, product batch code and exp. date, reason for return, action to take (replacement/return/credit) and whether the box has been opened or is manufacturer sealed.
- Please return all products with original manufacturer boxes and packing materials, together with all brochures and any other documentation included with the original shipment. RMA approval is contingent upon, among other things, the products being 100% complete.
- Customer is responsible for shipping charges to the VitaMist distribution center for all products being shipped for return, exchange or replacement. Products exchanged or replaced will be shipped by VitaMist to Customer, at VitaMist or Customer expense, depending on the reasons.
- Customer is responsible for all risk of loss and damage to products being shipped for return, exchange or replacement. Please fully insure return shipment in case of loss or damage. Please use a carrier that is able to provide you with proof of delivery such as UPS or FedEx. This is for your protection as well as to ensure quick action on your return.
Replacement Policy:
- Customer is responsible for returning damaged or defective merchandise to VitaMist
- VitaMist will not ship replacement merchandise until receipt of damaged or defective item.
- All defective or damaged returns are subject to verification.
Failure to return a product within the return period will be deemed to be an acceptance of the product.
